This rupture takes effect immediately.
“The values of respect and tolerance are written into Preste’s DNA and are non-negotiable. We unreservedly condemn anyone who departs from it in any form whatsoever, ”said the agency in a message posted online Monday morning.
“We send our sincere thoughts to the victims who have testified for several days and to those who remain wallowed in silence.”
The name of Kevin Parent appeared on the Instagram page Victims_Voices_Mtl, Sunday evening, accompanied by a testimony describing indecent gestures that the singer would have taken.
The message was however withdrawn, without explanation, on Monday morning.
Excuses
Kevin Parent has posted a video in which he apologizes.
“I made a lot of mistakes in my life and I said and I made a lot of nonsense, and then I accept them,” he says, before changing the subject immediately.
“But we are not here to talk about this, we are here because there is a big tidal wave of awareness or cry for justice.” It goes beyond me and my opinion and the desire to defend myself, that’s not it at all. This is not what I want to do, I want to listen, understand and be there. ”
He thanks his team at Preste, including his show agent Louis Carrière. “I know that for these reasons, you have to give up, you have to separate from me and then I understand it.”
