The French doctor advised the necessity to maintain dental health to avoid infection with the aforementioned diseases, by visiting the dentist once or twice annually. To check the condition of the gums, semen and tongue, close any cavities that occur in the teeth and remove the decay that sometimes appears in places that are difficult to notice.

He emphasized that the teeth should be brushed twice a day and flossed once; To remove food remnants, eat a balanced diet, while avoiding as much as possible from sugary drinks and sweetened foods, brushing teeth or rinsing the mouth as soon as you eat them to reduce the risk of caries, then eat chewing gum for a few minutes to restore the salivary pH in the mouth.

He pointed out that in the event of suffering from injuries, frequent pain in the muscles or joints, or pain in the heart, one should go to the dentist for an X-ray, after consulting a specialist doctor and not feeling comfortable after receiving treatment.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provided other advice to maintain oral health, namely: avoiding smoking, reducing alcoholic beverages, controlling high blood sugar levels in the event of diabetes; Because it affects the gums.

And she also advised to avoid dry mouth, by drinking plenty of water throughout the day, chewing sugar-free gum to stimulate the mouth to produce saliva, and going to the dentist as soon as you feel any pain, no matter how minor.
