Dresden. To ensure that children’s smiles continue to shine, there is an action event in the “Haus der Kinder I” daycare center in Pieschen.
On September 25th, the nationwide Dental Health Day will take place. To mark this day, the “Haus der Kinder I” daycare center at Trachenberger Platz 2 in Pieschen, together with experts from the Regional Working Group for Youth Dental Care in the state capital of Dresden, is hosting an action and information event on the topic of “Dental Health – Health begins in the mouth from the very beginning” from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Interested parents and families are cordially invited to attend.
While children can practice brushing their teeth with the plush crocodile “Kroko”, adults receive important information about oral health and can talk to experts to dispel worries and myths about this topic. There are also tips and tricks for good oral and dental care, even during pregnancy. The freshly printed children’s booklet “Animally healthy teeth” is also being distributed, in which the crocodile Kroko and his cat friend Lilly explain various aspects of oral hygiene in a child-friendly way.
At the event, families can also get to know the daycare center better and talk to the daycare team at various hands-on stalls. From craft stalls to face painting, the “Star Magic” puppet theater and a barefoot path to a treasure hunt, there is something for everyone. Entry is free.
