Denny Sumargo come to Polda Metro Jaya to be investigated for his report against his former manager, Ditya Andrista regarding alleged embezzlement, Tuesday (19/10).
To the media crew, Denny only said that he was ready to undergo an examination by the investigators of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya.
“Yes, be ready, I already bought coffee earlier. That’s all right,” said Denny at Polda Metro Jaya.
Meanwhile, Denny’s lawyer, Muhammad Anwar, said that his client was being investigated today in his capacity as a reporter.
Denny will explain the chronology of the embezzlement case allegedly committed by his former manager.
“Today, Mr. Denny Sumargo will question him to explain the chronology of legal events or criminal acts that are suspected of being committed,” he said.
During today’s investigation, the police also brought additional evidence. One of them is proof of transaction.
“There is a checking account that we will submit regarding the transaction, there is a discrepancy between the real money transferred by the client and the one received by us,” said Anwar.
From the information gathered, Denny Sumargo reported his former manager, Ditya Andrista, regarding the alleged embezzlement.
In this case, Denny feels that he has suffered a loss of around Rp700 million. Apart from that, Ditya is also accused of using the name of Denny Sumargo’s management for personal purposes.
