Many artists in Indonesia choose to be active in the world political. One of the artists who chose to enter politics was Denny Cagur.
Denny is known to be active at National Mandate Party (PAN) together Eco Patriot. This was revealed by Denny when talking to Raffi Ahmad | on YouTube.
“Now it’s the same with Mas Eko in PAN,” said Denny to Raffi on YouTube Rans Entertainment, Monday (5/7).
This then made Raffi curious about Denny’s goals in the world of apolitics. Even Raffi had asked about the possibility of Denny becoming a candidate for DPR.
“Would you like to sit in parliament, please?” asked Raffi.
“Amen, because it was one of my mother’s prayers,” replied Denny.
Denny then said that the choice to enter politics and sit in parliament was a his late mother’s hope. Denny said that the desire arose after his mother gave Kaaba painting gift.
“Mom once gave me a painting of the Kaaba. Then Mama said I wanted to go on a pilgrimage. Even though I didn’t have any plans at the time, but a year later, thank God, one of my wishes (to go on a pilgrimage) came true,” said Denny.
“Only a week before leaving, Mom and the doctor said that it was not possible to go abroad. Even though the passport and visa were ready and they came out,” he continued
Denny continued his story about his mother’s wishes. He admitted to getting gift a chair from his mother when celebrating his next birthday.
“Well, when it was my birthday a few years ago, I gave you a chair on the terrace. Tumben gave me a chair,” said Denny.
“Then he said that when he gave me the painting of the Kaaba, Mamah’s wish was fulfilled. And this is the chair, Mamah really wants Denny to be a member of the DPR. So now he’s finally here (entering politics),” concluded Denny.
