Dennis Schroeder will not go to another team for the final stretch of the 2021-22 NBA season and will stay with the Houston Rockets, Marc Stein reported.
The point guard was traded to the Texas squad for the Boston Celtics as part of a deal that brought Daniel Theis to the Eastern Conference squad.
Although there were versions about the departure of the German from the Rockets before March 1 after agreeing to an end to his current contract, the two parties were not in favor of this movement.
Several teams, including the Lakers, were interested in the player and were waiting for the Rockets to release him.
