New Delhi: For the sixth time in a row, Denmark has retained the distinction of being the least corrupt country in the world. 2023 of Transparency International Corruption Perception Index (CPI)This is clarified. For the sixth year in a row, Denmark topped the list revealing the level of corruption in the world’s countries. The country scored 90 points. Figures show that countries are lagging behind in tackling corruption in the public sector. The CPI global average remained unchanged at 43 for the twelfth year in a row. Two-thirds of the world’s countries scored below 50.
Corruption Perception Index (CPI) includes 180 countries of the world. The index shows that corruption is increasing in India. India, which was ranked 85th in 2022, has slipped to 93rd rank in 2023. India got 39 points this time. 40 points were received in 2022.
