COPENHAGEN (Aftenposten): Denmark has been two steps ahead of Norway in the corona pandemic and has come further in the omicron wave. So how is it really going there?

The woman barely has a voice, breathes heavily and twists in bed as she rolls through the corridor.
This is not the first time she has been here in the pulmonary ward at Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg hospital in Copenhagen. She lives in a nursing home and is chronically ill with COPD and asthma.
– And now you have also received corona, says infection doctor Stine Johnsen. She and nurse Maria Christensen put on disposable coats, goggles and gloves before entering.
The woman in bed nods when asked if she has had a fever. Her pulse is high, she is exhausted. On Thursday, she was one of two new coronary patients in this ward. Two were printed, two new ones came in.
However, the stable figure does not give a completely correct picture of the situation. Both the doctor and the nurse seem relieved.
They are in a different place than they feared just a few weeks ago. What happened?
