Denmark definitively stops AstraZeneca and suspends use of Janssen | Abroad

Concerns have been raised about possible rare side effects from those vaccines.

Denmark decided to stop the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine last month. At the time, it was still a temporary injection break. Authorities have now reported that they do not want to continue with the drug, which has been linked to a very rare and dangerous combination of blood clots and low platelet counts.

Discussion has now also arisen about the Janssen vaccine. The United States announced a puncture break on Tuesday. Several people had the same symptoms with blood clots and low platelet counts linked to AstraZeneca, which was produced in a similar way.
