Denmark can almost book European Championship tickets, partly thanks to Eriksen’s brilliant assist

Denmark did what it had to do on Saturday evening in the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen. The team of national coach Kasper Hjulmand was too strong for Kazakhstan with 3-1. The decision came in the last ten minutes before half time. Jonas Wind and Robert Skov ensured that the 1992 European champions went to rest 2-0. Skov also ensured that the spectators could cheer just after half-time, although the final score belonged to Yan Vorogovskiy. Denmark, like Slovenia, has collected 16 points from 7 matches. Close pursuers Finland and Kazakhstan follow after the same number of games with 12 points.
Particularities:
A cross towards the far post was returned by former FC Twente defender Joachim Andersen, after which Wind was able to open the score from close range. A nice stroke of luck for the Danish Dynamite, which had disappointed until then. There was hardly any disappointment at halftime, as Skov, after good preparatory work by Rasmus Højlund, scored the 2-0.
The TSG Hoffenheim attacker also scored the third goal in the Danish capital just three minutes after halftime. This was preceded by a beautiful through ball from Christian Eriksen. The technician sent Skov deep with a brilliant through ball from the outside right. Skov was no longer allowed to miss and did not do so with a shot in the short corner: 3-0. The final score went to Vorogovskiy, who tapped in after a sharp Kazakh counterattack: 3-1.
Standing Group H:

2. Denmark 7 – 16
3. Finland 7 – 12
4. Kazakhstan 7 – 12
5. Northern Ireland 7 – 6
