Artists who left Russia and oppose the Motherland abroad are mistaken, thinking that they are needed by someone abroad. This opinion was expressed by the singer Denis Maidanov.
“The performers who have taken an anti-Russian position think that being there, abroad, and saying something, someone else needs them. Actually, it’s agony. These are people who have abandoned their country, their audience, who have given absolutely nothing to their people. The worst thing is that they were used in the anti-Russian strategy – as soon as they had their say, they were no longer needed. They were “thrown out” there too!” — said Maidanov to NEWS.ru agency.
According to the singer, musicians who assert themselves before the public with anti-Russian statements should try their hand at real politics, and not on the stage.
“Still, if you are going to make statements, go into politics, there are a lot of people who are retorting, who will be told something to you. And when you go alone to a stadium with thousands of people and say something like that, people then turn around and leave your concerts. Because they came for music, and they start hearing politics from you. Do not confuse scenes, do not confuse genres, ”the artist urged.
