After the end of Mother’s Day, the City Hall says that the focus of the Municipal Team to Combat Aedes aegypti (EMCAa) was the aftermath work in the cemeteries. “The agents made a sweep in the midst of tombs and deposits and collected possible breeding sites for the dengue mosquito, such as small plates and plastic bags that involve vases”, he informed.

With a focus on this public, agents were on duty at the gates of cemeteries to bar the entry of objects that could accumulate water and become mosquito breeding sites.

The confirmation of 1,500 positive diagnoses of dengue in Catanduva indicates that, in just over four months of 2022, the municipality has already recorded three times more cases of the disease than in the whole of last year, when there were 456 confirmations in 12 months. .
