Bambang invited all hospitals in Bandung City to provide excellent health services for the community, especially in handling dengue fever cases in Bandung City. Bambang also asked hospitals to update data on dengue fever patients regularly, so that the data obtained is the latest, so that effective intervention programs can then be implemented.

Bambang reminded all the people of Bandung City to be more proactive and not hesitate to take family members who experience dengue fever symptoms to the Community Health Center or health service facilities.
Meanwhile, Head of the Bandung City Health Service, Anhar Hadian, said that currently the hospital occupancy rate has reached 73.6 percent, with several hospitals dominated by dengue fever cases. Therefore, he said, there needs to be synergy between the government and hospitals so that there is no spike in dengue fever cases being treated in hospitals.
“The city of Bandung is experiencing a significant increase in cases of dengue fever and this is a burden on hospitals, because from the data we get, hospital bed occupancy is currently 73.6 percent, which is actually quite high,” he said.
