Mosquitoes transmit many diseases to people, which pose a threat to their health.
According to the Express newspaper, the chief scientist at the World Health Organization, Jeremy Farrar, expressed his concern about a disease spread by mosquitoes.
Farrar said that rising global temperatures could lead to the spread of diseases around the world, adding: “We need to talk more proactively about dengue fever. We need to prepare countries for how they will deal with the additional pressures that will come, in the future in many countries.” of the major countries.”
He continued: “If infected mosquitoes move from Mexico to the United States, dengue fever may become endemic. I am concerned when this becomes a major issue.”
There are European countries where the disease has already spread, which are:
Croatia
