Dengue Fever Spike in Jepara Prompts Police Involvement in Prevention Efforts

JEPARA – Jepara Regency, which is experiencing a spike in Dengue Fever cases, is starting to take precautions simultaneously.

Bhabinkamtibmas from the Jepara Police Department also took part in the movement to eradicate mosquito nests (PSN) in people’s homes.

The involvement of police personnel is a collaborative effort regarding case handling Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DBD).

As seen by PSN in Kelet Village, Keling District, Jepara Regency, Tuesday (27/2).

Bhabinkamtibmas Keling Police Jepara Police Bripka Yayang Ramadhan also accompanied PSN activities as an early effort to prevent dengue fever.

PSN is carried out together with the local village government, health cadres from the nearest community health center and all elements of society.

Jepara Police Chief AKBP Wahyu Nugroho Setyawan through Kasubsipenmas Sihumas Jepara Police Ipda Puji Sri Utami said that through PSN, Bhabinkamtibmas had the opportunity to conduct outreach about efforts to prevent dengue cases.

Socialization is also intended to ensure that people always maintain a clean environment according to government recommendations.

“During the activity, we mingle with the PSN team so that the results are optimal,” he explained.

Ipda Puji appealed to the public to remain alert to the threat of the spread of dengue fever.

“Public awareness is the most important thing. “How to stop the spread of dengue mosquitoes,” he said.
