Dengue Fever Outbreak at Datu Sanggul Regional General Hospital, Rantau: 13 Patients Currently Being Treated

RANTAU – At the Datu Sanggul Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Rantau, there are currently still patients being treated for dengue fever.

The Director of Datu Sanggul Rantau Regional Hospital, Doctor Milhan, explained that currently there are still 13 patients being treated inpatients.

“The patients being treated for dengue fever are indeed children,” he said, Wednesday (3/1).

This Obstetrician Specialist informed that the trend of patients being treated for Dengue fever and Dengue Hemorrhagic fever since October 2023.

“So in October there were 33 patients, then in November there were 61 patients. “Then in December it increased, there were 193 patients,” he explained.

Pediatrician Rahmad Ramadhani added that currently the condition of the dengue fever patients being treated is in good condition.

“The conditions vary, the point is that most of those treated are in good condition,” he explained.
