Kiki explained that the children who were affected were because the mosquitoes attacked in the morning, when the children were sleeping in the morning.
“The mosquitoes attacked at 10 o’clock and below, thank God, all (DHF patients) are healthy, none of them were fatal,” said Kiki.
For fogging, explained Kiki, it is always ready at the puskesmas in each sub-district, spraying will be carried out if there is a request from the community.
“Fogging is a last resort if the mosquitoes contain the aides virus, the good one is 3M (Draining, Covering and Burying),” he explained.

He appealed to residents to adopt a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) by always cleaning around the house from trash and other debris.
In addition, implementing 3M is also a priority so that mosquitoes do not breed.
“3M itself stands for drain, shut down, and bury.
3M has long been touted as an effective way to reduce the spread of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) in Indonesia,” he concluded.
