Dengue Fever Cases in Boyolali Again Increase

Boyolali, Central Java – Case Dengue fever Dengue (DHF) in Boyolali Regency, Central Java until March 2022 increased compared to the same period in 2021. Now this case is starting to spread and infect several areas in Boyolali.

Head of the Department of Health (Dinkes) Boyolali KabupatenPuji Astuti explained, DHF cases found in Boyolali Regency until March 2022 amounted to 73 cases with two deaths from Karangnongko Village, Mojosongo District and from Sambeng Village, Juwangi District.

He admitted, the number of dengue cases this year increased when compared to 2021, which recorded 31 cases without any deaths.

“Indeed, it is higher than in March 2021. In 2021 there were 31 cases without any deaths,” said Puji Astuti when met at his office, on Tuesday (22/3/2022) afternoon.

Knowing that there were cases of DHF with cases of death or not, his party immediately carried out epidemiological investigations (PE) which aimed to determine the potential for further transmission and spread of the disease and the countermeasures that needed to be taken.
