Dengue fever or DHF is starting to spread in a number of areas. Chairman of the Bogor Regency DPRD, Rudy Susmanto, reminded the Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) to be alert.
“I saw in several news reports that dengue fever has started to attack the community. I ask the local government to be alert,” said Rudy in his statement, Thursday (22/2/2024).
Don’t let this disease cause harm to the people of Bogor Regency, he said. Preventive and handling steps need to be taken.
“Several strategies need to be prepared so that the impact can be minimized,” he said.
One preventive measure, for example, is to eradicate mosquito larvae in areas that have the potential to breed mosquitoes that cause dengue fever.
Meanwhile, for handling steps, we can provide adequate health facilities (faskes) if a dengue fever patient arrives.
“The hope is that even if there are residents who are affected, they can be treated quickly and appropriately,” he added.
Apart from that, Rudy appealed to residents to be alert. He appealed to residents to always maintain cleanliness, bury unused items and maintain their diet.
“Hopefully these steps can protect us all from dengue fever,” he concluded.
