Dendias, Harvard and the Armed Forces – 2024-04-07 08:45:10

Can any of the systems implemented in American universities be adopted by the Armed Forces of our country?

The answer, on the occasion of the visit of the Minister of Defense to New York, is given by BIMATodotis.

If you remember, writes the column, in the grand parade of expatriates in Montreal, Canada, it took place in front of Canadian Prime Ministers Trudeau and Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Now the new expatriate parade will take place on April 14 in New York with the participation of Defense Ministers Nikos Dendias and Vassilis Palmas (of Cyprus).

This is the established annual parade with the Presidential Guard’s marching band. The Belt Battalion will be in New York from April 12th.

But as I learn Mr. Dendias, points out BIMAtodotis, he is not going to New York just for the parade. It also goes for the sophisticated innovation systems of the largest American universities.

So he will visit MIT, but also Harvard. Perhaps we will see some of the systems implemented by American universities in the future also applied to the Armed Forces of our country.

He will also have contacts with the expatriate community and with expatriate politicians.
