Do you live in Den Bosch? Then consider yourself lucky. Because according to the German magazine Focus, our provincial capital is the second best place to live. Not just from the Netherlands, but from the whole world. The compilers prefer Den Bosch to, say, London, Paris and New York.
Did the Germans indulge in the Bossche Bollen of the famous De Groot confectionery? Or did they witness a top match of the first division club FC Den Bosch?

The location has been looked at and it is perfect with cities such as Tilburg, Utrecht and Eindhoven nearby, argue the creators of the list which compared 577 cities. “Den Bosch has about 150,000 inhabitants, but benefits from the proximity of these other Dutch cities. The city itself is best known as the seat of the Heineken brewery and as the birthplace of the painter Jheronimus Bosch”, explained in German.
