Berlin (dpa) – Another pro-Palestinian demonstration in Berlin led to crimes and arrests. That is what the police said. According to observers, anti-Jewish statements were made during the elevator on Saturday evening in Kreuzberg and Neukölln. The police have not yet released any details about the offences.

Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faser (SPD) emphasized on Sunday that there is no place for anti-Semitism in Germany. The rule of law must act consistently. “We must never get used to anti-Semitic abuse – no matter where and from whom it comes.”

The Berlin police wanted to take stock of the demonstration on Sunday. According to their own statements, the emergency services also had to protect press representatives.

Only on Friday there was a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Neukölln. According to the police, stones were thrown, officers were injured, firecrackers were set off and firecrackers were thrown.
