The expected Forspoken title from Luminous Productions was released on this year’s The Game Awards. However, just a few days after this event, a new trailer was released, which shows 4 minutes of live play, without any editing.
Pure gameplay footage is no longer as impressive as the previous previews, but it definitely looks promising. It looks like the concept will bring the game closer to a fairly classic action RPG with an open world. The main heroine Freya will gradually acquire new skills that we can improve and also change her clothes or even nail polish, which is also important in terms of playability.
Visually, Forspoken still looks nice, but the problem is likely to be framerate. He was very unstable in the new show, which is quite a problem in a game in which he fights a lot. In addition, the title is presented in such a way that smooth movement will be an important element, which low FPS would not help twice. So let’s hope the developers improve the technical side. After all, they still have a few months to do so.
Forspoken will be released on May 24, 2022 on PC and PlayStation 5, where it will be exclusive for two years.
