On November 9, a demonstration took place in Munich for the release of political prisoners Oliver Janich and Michael Ballweg. In the case of Janich in particular, it is clear that there are purely political motivations here.
Querdenker founder Michael Ballweg and libertarian journalist Oliver Janich have been in prison for months. On November 9, the day of the demonstration for the release of political prisoners, the two fighters for the freedom of the people and against the growing state arbitrariness will be in prison for 133 and 84 days respectively. The day is considered “Fateful day of the Germans“. So Janich is in the “immigration prison” in the Philippine capital Manila and is waiting for things there – it is not yet clear whether or not he will be extradited to Germany.
According to the organizers, the demonstration, which will pass before several courts in Munich, should be a sign against political persecution in Germany. There will also be an interim demonstration at the Criminal Justice Center. According to the latest information, the expected route is as follows:
Max-Joseph-Platz, Perusastr., Theatinerstr., Maffeistr., Promenadeplatz, Pacellistr., Lenbachplatz, Elisenstr., Seidlstr., Nymphenburger Str., Sandstr., Linprunstr., Erzgießereistr., Nymphenburger Str., Seidluerstr., Dachaenburger Str. .., Prielmayerstr., Karlsplatz, Lenbachplatz, Pacellistr., Promenadeplatz, Maffeistr., Theatiner Str., Perusastr., Max-Joseph-Platz.
The fact that, according to a federal government response to a Small request from Petr Bystron and the AfD parliamentary group on Oliver Janich apparently the sphere of jurisdiction is being passed back and forth between the authorities of both countries. Although the federal government does not want to give an answer “for reasons of personal rights”, the question arises as to whether the German authorities have not imposed “passport restriction measures” on the journalist. According to reports, Janich was arrested by the Philippine authorities for violating the passport law. This means that the German authorities declared his passport invalid and then obviously drew the attention of the Philippine authorities to it.
Basically, the German government is just showing with its statement that it has no problem letting Oliver Janich get tough in the “immigration prison”. Knowing full well that the Philippine authorities most likely will not deport him without an extradition agreement and are waiting for Berlin to send police officers to take him away. However, this is only possible if an international arrest warrant has been issued. But the federal government does not want to comment, even citing personal rights.
However, Janich’s lawyer, Markus Roscher, has already requested a review of the detention, which the Munich regional court will carry out. In conversation with Oliver Flesch (Video about Gettr here) three points are clarified according to which German law enforcement authorities accuse Oliver Janich of:
1.) Insult like “Spast” against a DGB activistthat he himself has repeatedly publicly vilified Janich as a “right-wing extremist”, “anti-Semite” and the like.
2.) Public incitement to commit crimes. It was about a Telegram post that said “hang Biden, hang Soros, hang them all, damn it.” A contribution that was only online for a few minutes and that could also have been published by the editors of the channel. According to Roscher, Janich did not publish it.
2.) Even public instigation to commit crimes. It concerned the alleged call to execute politicians. According to Janich’s lawyer, it was a satirical reaction to a Focus article in which legal experts considered general vaccination against Covid-19 to be necessary. However, as the experimental Covid vaccines have not been tested for long-term and potentially fatal side effects, Janich’s reaction has been such that some forensic experts may even find it necessary to shoot the entire government. The statement should therefore be understood as a cynical criticism of these experts and not as an appeal to violence.
However, this also makes it clear that there is no real reason for Oliver Janich’s imprisonment and that the whole thing is simply politically motivated.
