(ANSA) – MILAN, MAY 02 – Demonstration against anti-Semitism on Sunday in Piazza Scala in Milan, in front of the Municipality headquarters. Promoting it is, as announced in the City Council, the Reformist councilor and exponent of the Jewish community, Daniele Nahum, candidate with Action in the European elections. “After the attack against the Jewish Brigade on April 25, the danger of anti-Semitism is increasingly worrying – explains Nahum in a note -. This is why we have called a garrison in response to this unbearable climate. See you this Sunday in Piazza della Scala, the location is yet to be confirmed.” The appeal to participate is addressed to all political forces. “We extend the invitation to anyone who wants to join and I hope that the list of those who firmly stand against anti-Semitism is ever wider”, he concludes. The initiative has already been joined by Francesco Ascioti, secretary of Milan Action, Luca Bernardo, Forza Italia group leader in the Milan City Council, Michela Jesurum, Alessandro Litta Modignani, Milanese Association for Israel, Mariangela Padalino group leader Noi Moderates, Manfredi Palmeri, Civic List, Davide Romano, director of the Jewish Brigade Museum, Sergio Scalpelli, secretary Italia viva Milano, Rayhane Tabrizi, Iranian activist, Riccardo Truppo, group leader Fratelli d’Italia and Alessandro Verri, group leader of the League.
