FAJAR.CO.ID, HAMBALANG– The Democratic Party has finally officially joined the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) to support Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.
This support was conveyed after the General Chair of the Democratic Party, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and the General Chair of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) met Prabowo in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, Sunday (19/9).
The Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said that joining the Democrats would add strength in winning Prabowo in the 2024 presidential election. However, he instructed all Gerindra cadres to remain humble.
“We convey to all Gerindra party cadres throughout Indonesia, today, we, the Gerindra Party, have received the honor of increasing our strength in facing the 2024 presidential election. Today, our party has officially accepted the joining of the Democratic Party into the Indonesian Coalition Move forward,” said Dasco, Sunday (17/9).
Dasco also said that Prabowo and the general chairman of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) political party received SBY and AHY. During the meeting, said Dasco, the Democratic Party expressed support for Prabowo.
“During that meeting, the Democratic Party conveyed the results of the decision of the Democratic Party High Council which stated that they supported Pak Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election,” explained Dasco.
According to him, what happened today is something that makes Gerindra cadres proud. Because this makes Prabowo’s coalition of supporters stronger.
