Political observer and director of IndoStrategi Research and Consulting, Arif Nurul Imam, is of the opinion that if the Ministry of Law and Human Rights approves the Democrats from the KLB, Moeldoko’s camp will have the legality. “Although later I was sure that if this happened, the AHY camp would definitely bring it to court,” said Arif Nurul Imam to SINDOnews, Wednesday (24/3/2021).

Arif also considered that there would be pluses and minuses if the KLB version of the Democratic Party was passed by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights later. “The minus is that this party has lost an electoral figure because SBY is on the opposite side of the camp,” he said.

According to Arif, it must be admitted that SBY is a figure capable of drawing votes, at least it has been tested in several elections. “The plus point, if it is legalized as part of the government’s power today, it can dominate government programs to campaign to seek sympathy and support from the people,” he concluded.
