You can put your legs in, but not your hands… that’s what Allende said.
DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION is hit hard, they entered the circus of national politics alone in one of the ugliest of the ugly affairs. CORRUPTION.
Giorgio spoke of moral superiority, that the new ones were above the poor standards of the old ones.
So Giorgio and RD are cleaner than Miguel, Carlos Lorca and the central committees of the Communist Party detained-disappeared. Opinions like that really outrage.
Politics existed before the arrival of the Broad Front and there was also good and bad politics. There was the good public servant and the ladies in white at the social security door. The right wing that is known is the same as in previous times, they are the sector that defends the sacred interests of the ruling class, of businessmen and landowners, bankers and insurers, the Isapres and the AFP, therefore nothing new.
Pride is a bad adviser if it is not administered correctly and lucidly
Giorgio, Latorre and others do not know or have traveled the path to the cemetery to bury those who will always be needed.
Having heard a few years ago of a group of insurgents, rebels and anti-establishment who came to bury the old policy was the least expected. The same as always had been there for many years and that produces habituation, accommodations, nepotism, perks, negotiated and cronyism.
A small light was being seen at the end of the tunnel. It was even thought that an alternative production model could be built.
Many and many joyfully embraced the fact that the old geezers were retiring to their winter quarters after having fulfilled the pact with the military for the continuation of the model, administrators of an aggressive and violent one established by blood and fire by the military.
Since 1990, without major alterations, the same names have followed one another with their governments, that old paraphernalia of the now that can be done. The time for change has arrived, a whole long supermarket list, the statues in front of the presidents’ house increased.
Suddenly the streets were filled with new actors who, for the most part, started their own schools, building walls of resistance to a model that curtailed their future. And as if it were a cartoon, the old politician concocted her plan to survive. They were all big agreements whose final destination is to continue deepening the commodification of whatever is possible, education, health, welfare. Everything was valid and the banks also came to the CAE feast hand in hand with the concertation. A country on offer and liquidation.
And it was born in the streets, that magnificent place where the processes that slowly become admirable projects are started, convinced of being able to achieve them.
They called it profit and millions found out that neoliberalism had mortgaged their dreams, and that of their parents and also that of their grandparents. Millions of Chileans living below the poverty line while it was announced with trumpet blasts that development was coming around the corner.
And the libertarian rebels began to fill the pages of the newspapers, actors on the front line of television. They even went so far as to curse the nefariousness of the tie and also the blue jackets with the raised collar like Miguel wore. They deservedly earned respect, they built it in those not too distant times.
They threw darts at the traitors, pointed the finger at the Yanaconas, at the parliamentarians who acted as bosses on their district farms. They watered ink to denounce the lack of courage to defeat the binominal.
And in that corruption appeared, false invoices, gifts, the Velasco breakfasts with the PENTA of twenty million pesos, cheaper than Karina Oliva’s. Sentences for criminals had never been known as ethics classes at a university for corrupt people.
The Chileans began to perceive the usual, the parliament was made up of low-level characters.
A single former UDI senator who was handpicked as the sacrificial lamb delivered himself into the hands of his co-religionists. Others are still looking for a bus ticket on the ground to justify the generous donations that came from fisheries, banks, retail, and insurers in abundance.
And the curtain fell. DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION lowered the curtain of purity and failed the test.
Young party with a few years and numerous militants, licensed with two languages, he put his hands in. The upright, the pure, those honest and consistent went to join the impious.
It was correct that when they first arrived in parliament they gave notable battles against all those who betrayed the public faith, all those with their eyes closed received money to propose the democracy that bankers and businessmen need.
When crises are deep like the one we are seeing, one must go to the bottom to find not only the reasons for committing crimes but also to measure the capacity of their leaders, in this case they are NOT up to the task, and the most delicate thing that This action of the old politics gives the right plenty of reasons to insist on the same thing.
We know that RN/UDI/PDC and others have traveled the same paths of corruption and misery, but the tray is served.
It is therefore worth wondering in the event of making the Broad Front a single party, is it correct with the same ones that somersault after somersault always come out well off. Bad time to support a single party and it is bad simply because you live the legitimate right to distrust those who would possibly be your companions on the road.
So we have to go back to the streets and the union. Let the workers and teachers write the program for what is to come, the name, the flag and the anthem, because without that there is simply no progress.
They lost credibility and the remarkable opportunity to take heaven by storm.
How unfortunate and it is so because no one will give way to the side. This herd does not carry lamb for sacrifice. The sacrificed are the usual ones, those who rejoiced on March 4, those who believed in the new ones and now see them in the gang of impure and immoral.
Enough of mistreating the always beaten. Poor is doing politics and living from it installing dreams on the shoulders of those who have been mistreated for years.
