Democratic Party (PD) join in support Prabowo Subianto as a 2024 presidential candidate in the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM). Golkar Party talk about the fate of the narrative of change voiced by the Democrats.
“First, with the entry of a party that is carrying a narrative of change, of course we will discuss it because the current ones agree with the existing narrative,” said Golkar Party Secretary General Lodwijk Paulus at the Golkar DPP office, West Jakarta, Wednesday (20/9/2023).
Lodwijk ensured that KIM would continue President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) program which was already good. Then we will evaluate programs that are not good.

“We are talking about the Advanced Indonesia Coalition, continuing Pak Jokowi’s programs which of course are already good, we will evaluate the others,” he said.
It is known that the Democratic Party has provided support to Prabowo Subianto after a meeting between the Chairman of the Democratic Party’s High Council, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) at Prabowo’s residence, Hambalang, West Java.
