Democratic Party Calls for Reshuffling Moeldoko: Support for President Jokowi’s Positive Candidates

Secretary General of the Party DemocratsJansen Sitindaon supports President Joko Widodo’s positive candidates (Jokowi). Therefore, the Democratic Party asked Jokowi to conduct positive cawe-cawe by reshuffling Moeldoko from the position of Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP).

This was conveyed by Jansen in the Adu Perspective program ‘Poco-poco Anies Baswedan Coalition’ which was broadcast by detik.com in collaboration with Total Politik, Wednesday (14/6/2023). Jansen initially questioned Sandiaga’s intention of reporting to Jokowi before joining the United Development Party (PPP).

“(Sandiaga reported Jokowi before joining PPP) is this the SOP in the cabinet? Mr. Jokowi, thank you so much, this is also important, sir, the reshuffle is Moeldoko, Mr. Jokowi, thank you sir. So that the accusations out there will disappear if Jenengan approves (KLB Democrat),” said Jansen.

Jansen admitted that the Democratic Party and all cadres and supporters were not willing to pay taxes to the state to pay Moeldoko. Jansen asked Jokowi to reshuffle Moeldoko.

“Whatever it is, we, the Democratic Party, don’t want tens of millions of cadres, sympathizers, Democratic Party voters to pay taxes in this country, pay the salary of the KSP named Moeldoko. So thank you, Mr. Jokowi, I am one of those who agree with positive female cawes. yesterday,” he said.

According to Jansen, the provisions for positive cawe-cawe are in the Law (UUD). He assessed that by reshuffling Moeldoko, Jokowi had made positive cawe and cawe efforts.

“Because there are provisions for positive cawe, for example, if you want to push for our election to be more democratic, there is no problem. Including this (Moeldoko), positive cawe, sir, because reshuffling is the authority of Jenengan. To appoint Moeldoko is Jenengan, the source of his power is Jenengan. That may be his last request,” he added.
