The Democratic Party has decided to direct its support to the presidential candidate of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), Prabowo Subianto. Politician PDIP Deddy Sitorus said his party was pursuing ‘swing voters‘.
“What is certain is that all surveys show that not all political party voters will choose candidates promoted by their elites. The people have their own independence to choose presidential candidates. Apart from that, there are still many swing voters and undecided voters. “We will of course pursue it there,” said Deddy to reporters, Monday (18/9/2023).
Deddy is confident that his party’s presidential candidate, Ganjar Pranowo, can still win the 2024 election. He believes that Ganjar is a figure with complete qualifications.
“We have confidence because Mas Ganjar is a complete candidate and meets personal aspects, track record, communication, background and many advantages compared to other candidates,” he said.
