Berlin – After a demonstration, a police officer pushes a woman from behind so hard that she falls, then she is arrested. Everything is captured on video. The Berlin police are now conducting an internal investigation against the riot police officer.
Hundreds of Hamas fans marched in Berlin-Kreuzberg on Saturday evening, also demonstrating in front of the building of Axel Springer SE, which also owns BILD. They trivialized the Holocaust, gave the Hitler salute and shouted terror slogans – ten months after the Hamas terror attack on October 7, 2023. Ten police officers were injured.

After the demonstration in Berlin, a video appeared on “X” (formerly “Twitter”) showing an attack by a riot police officer on a demonstrator.

In the sequence, the officer can be seen pushing a red-haired woman from behind and causing her to fall. She is then temporarily detained by him and other colleagues. The background to the incident is currently the subject of investigations.

Die police responds to BILD’s request: “This is an ongoing investigation being conducted against the officer by a specialist department of the Berlin State Office of Criminal Investigation. No information can be provided at this time.”

It is still unclear who made the recordings and at what time. The police said: “The time of the recording is not known. A public clock shows a time of 8:23 p.m. at the end of the video clip provided. The video recording was not made by the Berlin police. The author of the video is not known.”

A detective said: “Such incidents always have to be reconstructed down to the smallest detail.” This video only shows the robust actions of the officer and not what may have happened beforehand.
