Rapid’s gem Yusuf Demir remains a hot transfer stock. Even though the 19-year-old has not yet played for Rapid this season, the U19 team player is in great demand. The talent could soon feature at Los Angeles FC alongside Gareth Bale and Giorgio Chiellini.
Yusuf Demir joined Rapid’s team training late due to the U19 European Championship in Slovakia. Nevertheless, the 19-year-old is in great demand on the international transfer market. Due to adductor problems, Demir has not yet been able to play a game for the green-whites. According to head coach Ferdinand Feldhofer, however, this injury has been overcome.
Club-affiliated media of the MLS-Clus Los Angeles FC have reported on the keen interest of the Californians. These would still have a place for a “Designated Player”. The Designated Player Rule allows a club to sign up to three players above the salary cap. Demir would be third alongside Bale and Chiellini.
