Iris and Thom have been living happily in a rented apartment in Tilburg for a few years, but will soon have to leave it because the owner wants to live in it again. That means they have to find a new home as soon as possible, but so far their search has not really worked. The two have a large wish list and Iris also finds it difficult to make decisions. When they visit Bob, however, they are confronted with the facts. He lets them know that their wish list is too long and that with a budget of 4 tons they will never get everything they want. “Your generation wants a lot and preferably now”, he addresses them sternly.

However, Iris and Thom let it be known that they do not want to make any concessions, as they certainly want to continue living in the house for the next ten years. So Alex has the difficult task of finding a suitable house. Miraculously, it turns out not to be as complicated as previously thought: he soon stumbles upon a beautiful characteristic house, which actually already meets most of Iris and Thom’s wishes. During the inspection of the house, Bob even wonders what else is left for him to do.

When Iris and Thom see the house before the renovation, they are completely delighted. They like the neighborhood and except for a few minor points, the house already meets all their wishes. So they wonder what the catch is, but what they don’t know is that it isn’t there at all. Bob and Roos still have enough budget to get the house perfect. There is still money for a small extension, new kitchen, new bathroom and a beautiful interior. When Iris and Thom see the end result, they can’t believe their eyes. “I’m shaking, it’s really cool”, Iris stammers. “This isn’t normal is it?”
Bob and Roos recently let it be known that they sometimes have their hands in their hair when it comes to the hefty wish lists of some candidates.
