In the city of El Alto, the demand for vaccines against covid-19 and the taking of samples increases, one of the points with the highest influx being the Ambulatory Reference Center (CRA), since this unit serves more than 100 people per day.
According to Ramiro Argollo, the point of medical attention is located at the Ceja de El Alto distribution bridge, to which the population goes from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., either to receive the vaccine against covid-19 in its different stages or to perform the nasal antigen test.
According to these data, until the last week of this month the maximum demand only reached 70 people of different ages, but since Monday the 18th this number has increased to more than 100 applicants per day.
However, it is known that the demand is mostly from people over 18 years old and not so those minors between 5 to 17 years old, who must have the authorization of the parents or be accompanied by them.
Of this number of attendees who request the nasal antigen tests, several were the people who tested positive, but most of them have the supply of the covid-19 vaccine up to the third dose, so, after the recommendations of the case, they return to their homes.
TERMINAL METROPOLITANA
Another of the vaccination points and nasal antigen tests is the Metropolitan terminal in the Villa Bolívar “D” area, where there is a group of municipal health personnel, whose attention is provided during office hours.
According to the person in charge of this vaccination point, Dr. Ruth Condori, it was known that the influx of people increases day by day, mostly elderly people, many of whom would have only received up to the second dose.
In the same way, at this point, the vaccine against yellow fever and influenza is supplied, mostly to minors.
