Demand for solar panels in Lebanon after the sharp rise in electricity prices

Shafakna – These days the Lebanese people are turning more and more to solar panels, since electricity has become a rare energy due to the economic crisis that the country is going through.

In the absence of financing for the purchase of fuel for the operation of electrical systems, the supplier at national level has resorted to a significant rationalization of energy consumption. The Lebanese are tired of resorting to private electric generators, which run on fuel and oil, which are very expensive and pollute the environment, and are now investing in solar panels.

Due to unfair restrictions imposed by banks on their customers, many Lebanese resort to installing solar panels thanks to the large Lebanese community, which can finance such projects.

The sun shines in Lebanon 300 days a year and more and more schools, companies and cities have opted for photovoltaics, to guarantee a minimum level of energy.
