The BSP is adamant that it threatens the model of political democracy in Bulgaria. Thus, Delyan Dobrev’s connections were also visible in “Bulgartransgaz” – a company managed by a supervisory and management board.
Vladimir Mitrushev – former Deputy Mayor of Dimitrovgard Municipality, is the Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company. His father is a municipal councilor from GERB.
The figure of the chairman of the board – Tanya Zaharieva – municipal councilor from PP GERB, chairman of the municipal council in Haskovo and chairman of the management board of the company is interesting. The executive director of “Bulgartransgaz” Georgi Gegov lives with Teodora Georgieva, deputy from GERB. The two in question were the godfathers of Alexander Nenkov and Plamena Nenkova, who is also an employee of the state company as Head of the “Analysis and International Activity” department.
Valery Zhablyanov commented that these are permanent, stable, almost institutionalized kinship ties along the resource allocation vertical. According to him, in this way models are built that deform the local and national power in the direction of certain oligarchic groups.
“This model cannot be called democratic,” he is categorical. The model in question serves the executive power and the ruling majority, it is clear from his statement. “For us, this is reprehensible,” said Zablyanov. According to him, there is a serious internal party crisis in GERB, which cannot but affect the management and the ruling coalition.
“We have been talking for a long time at the local level, at the national level, about the way state-run companies function. What we are pleasantly surprised by is the particular activity of public opinion,” said Zablyanov. He was categorical that the threshold of tolerance for such brazen acts has already been passed.
