The Beta strain is present in 136 countries. During the week, the list of states where it circulates has increased by four.

The Gamma strain, which was discovered in September in Brazil, is now circulating in 81 countries, and their number has not increased over the past seven days.

In addition, the incidence of coronavirus in the world increased by 4% in a week – more than 4.2 million new infections were detected. At the same time, the number of fatal cases increased by 2% compared to the previous week.
