JAKARTA (IndoTelko) – Dell computer vendor immediately hit the market in early 2015 by releasing a number of new products targeting the business segment. The new products include the Dell Latitude 13 7000 Series with a 2 in 1 concept. This laptop features a 13.3-inch screen and an ISO-certified keyboard. The screen and keyboard can be separated so they can work with multiple functions, like a tablet. In addition there is a Dell Venue Pro 11 tablet computer that carries a thin design with a 10.8-inch screen and weighs 700 grams. Not to mention the result of collaboration with Microsoft and Intel, Dell created Dell PowerEdge FX storage, a 2U machine filled with six new PowerEdge servers, sled storage, and network IOA. “This product targets the enterprise segment, you can see it for yourself from the design. But it is also possible if the general public is interested in buying it,” said End User Computing Business and Development Strategy Dell Indonesia Danny Hartono, yesterday. Dell Indonesia Managing Director Catherine Lian added that computer sales in Indonesia are still bright if citing data released by the International Data Corporation (IDC) research institute where in the third quarter of 2014 devices shipped in Indonesia grew 10% and Dell was in fifth position.
“Every quarter in 2014, Dell experienced double-digit growth in Indonesia. Indonesia is indeed a key focus country, especially when it is experiencing a huge boom in economic growth,” he explained.(ak)
