Dell Expands UltraSharp Series with Affordable 23.8-Inch Monitors: U2424H and U2424HE

Dell has expanded its UltraSharp monitor series with two inexpensive 23.8-inch models, the U2424H and U2424HE. The new products offer a stylish design with thin frames, support Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, while the predecessors of these models offered a frequency of 60 Hz.

The Dell UltraSharp U2424H and U2424HE monitors use IPS matrices with viewing angles of 178 by 178 degrees, support for 8-bit color depth, 5 ms response (GtG), 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 85% color gamut DCI-P3 space, 100% sRGB and Delta E <2 color accuracy.

The new products are equipped with ergonomic stands. Supports 150mm height adjustment, -5° to 21° tilt, -45° to 45° swivel, and portrait mode. The monitors received an ALS ambient light sensor, which allows you to automatically adjust the screen brightness. In addition, the new products are equipped with technology to reduce the emission of harmful blue light.

Both monitors received one DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 1.4 input, as well as one DisplayPort output and a 3.5 mm audio output. The new products are also equipped with USB-C connectors with the ability to transfer 15 W to an external device. The U2424HE model additionally offers a 90 W USB Type-C port, four USB 3.2 Type-A (the U2424H model has three), a LAN connector (2.5 Gbps) and a KVM switch.

The Dell UltraSharp U2424H and U2424HE will go on sale in China on October 24. The first manufacturer priced it at 2,499 yuan ($341), the second at 2,799 yuan ($382). There is no information about the arrival of new products in other markets yet.
