-With the courier union dramatically drawing up a provisional agreement one day ahead of the general strike, it is decided on the 29th whether to approve the provisional agreement.

The courier union will hold a general meeting of members at 10 am on this day. The General Assembly is conducted anonymously through ballots prepared in each region.

The parcel delivery union will decide whether to approve the provisional agreement at around 11 am on the same day, and then hold a strike launch ceremony or a victory resolution contest depending on the result.

An official from the union said, “If the tentative agreement is approved, it will be released through the participating groups of the social consensus organization at 12:00 noon on the 29th.” The previous day, the parcel service labor and management succeeded in deriving the provisional agreement after six hours of discussion at the National Assembly. Accordingly, the union side held an emergency expansion central executive committee and decided to hold a general meeting of members in the morning of that day to approve the provisional agreement.

Initially, the courier union was scheduled to hold a strike initiation ceremony this morning and 5,500 union members would go on strike. It is about 11% of 50,000 courier drivers nationwide.

The’Social Consensus Organization for Countermeasures for Overworked Delivery Workers’, composed of the courier union, courier companies, government, and consumer organizations, excludes sorting work within the scope of the basic work of courier workers on the 21st. The’first agreement on measures to deal with overwork’ was announced.

However, the courier union declared a general strike indefinitely, saying the courier company had broken the social agreement.

At the last press conference, the courier union said, “It is confirmed that the courier has issued an official letter denying the agreement to the branch or branch.” Five days after signing the agreement, the courier company agreed to take responsibility for the sorting process. I destroyed it.”

As the strike approached one day ahead, the government and the ruling party began to persuade the union and the courier company on that day, and the possibility of withdrawing the strike increased as a provisional agreement was drawn up.
