The pumping of natural gas through the Russian Yamal-Europe gas pipeline more than halved amid a fire at the Gazprom refining plant in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug) preparing condensate for transportation. Earlier on Thursday, a fire broke out at a plant preparing condensate for transportation near Novy Urengoy in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. It is localized, there are no victims. Work at the facility was stopped and the condensate was shut off.
The plant belongs to OOO Gazprom pererabotka and is the main producer of high-quality products of hydrocarbon processing in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
