Delicious and Aromatic Homemade Bacon Recipe – No Chemical Smells or Tastes

Home-made bacon is many times more fragrant, tasty and tender than store-bought. No chemical smells and tastes – only natural meat and aromatic spices!

Ingredients:

Pork breast (can also be beef) – 1.1 kg;

Table salt – 22 g (2% of meat weight);

Nitrite salt – 11 g (1% of meat weight);

Sugar – 11 g (1% of meat weight);

Ground black pepper – 2 teaspoons;

Garlic – 3 cloves;

Bay leaves – 3 pieces;

Ground nutmeg – 0.5 teaspoon;

Chopped dried thyme – 1 teaspoon;

Dried adjika – 2 teaspoons.

Prepare a piece of meat and all the spices + chopped garlic, mix. Coat the meat piece evenly on both sides with the spice mixture. Then put it in a bag and send it to the refrigerator for marinating for 4 days. Turn the bag upside down every day.

After 4 days, scrape off the stuck spices with a knife.

Put the meat in the oven at the lowest possible temperature (no more than 100 degrees) for 2.5-3 hours. The temperature inside the meat will reach 80 degrees – and the bacon will be ready.

The meat turns out simply delicious, tender and aromatic – definitely try it.
