The point is that since November last year I’ve been getting emails from GMX that I’ve tried to log into GMX via a mail app.
I checked my cell phone again and I actually tried to link my smartphone with Gmx a few months ago. However, it didn’t work and I left it at that and forgot again.
The account stayed, only I have never opened the mail app since then.
I recently looked into the app because I received these emails very suspiciously and my email address was saved there. Then I deleted the account or removed all data from my smartphone regarding my email address. Out of curiosity, I tried to log in with a test email account via smartphone and immediately the same mail arrived, with failed access blah blah ..
What makes me puzzled, however, is that I tried to link my email account to my smartphone or to log in via the mail app, but I got this email about 10 times because of a failed access.
Either my cell phone tried to log in automatically or someone else did it?
What could that be?
