On March 8, at the Municipal Gym, the Olivar community came together to commemorate International Women’s Day, with a day full of joy and fun. The event, organized by the local municipality, brought together people of all ages in a festive atmosphere.
The day was hosted by Pato Laguna. The charismatic presenter put all his energy and sympathy into everyone present, creating a great atmosphere.
Then, the activity gave way to the music of “Sol de México”, with the Luis Miguel Double show. Attendees enjoyed a spectacular presentation, by the impersonator, who with his characteristic voice and style, transported the audience to the best moments of the Mexican idol’s music.
And to conclude the day, it was the turn of Los Lumaquinos Alegres. The musicians, originally from Lumaco, made all the women dance, with their mix of ranchero and romantic music, which made all the women who attended get up from their chairs to dance and applaud.
The mayor of Olivar, María Estrella Montero, led the event, highlighting the importance of recognizing the achievements and challenges of women in society. Councilors Eduardo Cáceres, Carlos Miranda and Sergio Aravena were also present.
The high attendance reflected the community spirit of Olivar and the determination to continue moving towards a more just and inclusive world. The municipality thanks all the women of Olivar for being part of this beautiful celebration.
