Two trucks collided with each other on the A4 highway between Leidschendam and Zoeterwoude-Dorp. Three of the four lanes in the direction of Amsterdam are closed.
According to the ANWB, the recovery of the trucks will take until about 3 p.m. This results in a delay of approximately one hour for road users. Traffic will be diverted at the Prins Clausplein junction.
The front truck was in the emergency lane when the accident happened. According to a local news agency, that was because the vehicle had lost a rear wheel. The condition of the driver is unknown. The driver of the rear truck was taken to hospital.

This morning led two other truck accidents also to delays on the A2 between Den Bosch and Utrecht. The highway was closed for several hours.
