Dejan Ljubicic has arrived at 1. FC Köln.
He has been training with the German Bundesliga club for a good three weeks after his move from Rapid and has already settled in well in the cathedral city. “The boys took me in great. After his contract with Rapid expired in the summer, Ljubicic was looking for a new challenge. Despite several offers, the 23-year-old decided to go to Cologne, although at the time the contract was signed, he was not at all sure that the billy goats would be able to stay in the Bundesliga.
“When I signed the contract I was sure that FC would stay in the Bundesliga. But it remained exciting and dramatic until the end. I watched the games against Schalke and Kiel and shivered.
