And such a beautiful language that you suddenly understand – Boyka Asiova’s voice is not only her author’s voice, but comes from very deep. Or, to quote from the book, these stories are like “an incantation – strung from individual grains of complaint, rumour, sigh, whisper, silence, prayer – broken and fused, which drives away the disease”.
