Several Norwegian universities this spring have had an increase in the number of cases suspected of exam cheating, reports NRK.
At the University of Agder, there are now 37 such cases to be dealt with – probably a multiplication from a normal year, according to channels.
– This is extraordinary. I have never experienced similar, says Secretary Ragnhild Skomedal for the Appeals Committee at the University of Agder.

To the NRK, the University of Tromsø (UiT) states that they have experienced more exam cheating than earlier this year than last year, with 17 against eight cases. At NTNU, more cases of cheating are suspected than normal.
At the University of Oslo (UiO) they do not want to comment on suspicions of cheating yet, while at the University of Bergen (UiB) there is currently no evidence of more cheating, according to Vice-Rector Oddrun Samdal.
