“DEG signs Luis Üffing from the Kölner Haie”

Attacker comes from the Kölner Haie to DEG

The Düsseldorfer EG has signed Luis Üffing. The striker comes from the Kölner Haien and has signed a contract until 2025/26. The 22-year-old has played 86 games in the PENNY DEL so far and scored twelve points.

Niki Mondt: “Luis Üffing is a very versatile player and can therefore be used flexibly. His game is characterized by a lot of commitment and a good portion of physique. I am convinced that he can play an important role here over the next few years and that we will have a lot of fun with him.”

About Luis Uffing

Luis Üffing was born on May 30, 2000 in Peißenberg. He is 1.89 meters tall and weighs 82 kg. The left-handed shooter began his ice hockey career in the youth team of EC Peiting and switched to the youth team of the Kölner Haie in 2015/16. Four years later, Üffing made the leap into professional ice hockey for the first time, to EC Bad Nauheim in the DEL2 – cooperation partner of the Kölner Haie. He also spent the entire 2020/21 season there before becoming a permanent member of the Domstädter squad. In two seasons he played a total of 85 games for the Haie, scoring four goals and providing eight assists.
